Each year, since 1981, Holmegaard releases a Christmas collection adorned with nostalgic and ornate paper cuttings by the impeccably talented Jette Frölich. A tradition that’s more than four decades old, the much-anticipated collection comprises beautiful, intricately detailed pieces of holiday decor. In celebration of Holmegaard’s 200th anniversary, the 2025 Christmas collection features Jette Frölich’s signature paper cuttings on this year’s hot drinks glasses, bringing romantic motifs to life with festive elegance. Inspired by Denmark’s Golden Age, the designs feature lush wreaths, mistletoe, and classic holiday scenes that echo the magic of Christmases past. Frölich’s timeless style invites mixing across years, making each piece part of a cherished Christmas tradition.

Known for her uniquely elegant Scandinavian-style motifs, Jette Frölich began designing paper decorations back in 1966. She has since become internationally recognized, with exhibitions in Japan, France, Scotland, Canada, and Norway.
