It’s been awhile! Join us on Sunday, May 24 for the return of the Tour de Tivoli Fun(d) Ride, beginning and ending at the Danish Windmill in Elk Horn. This 26-mile ride features some of the best sights and scenery western Iowa has to offer. Coast westward on F58 past the Museum of Danish America including its prairie and Elk Horn’s new Thomas Dambo troll, Fjord the Ferryman. Take a break on the beach at Prairie Rose State Park before heading north to Highway 44 of the Western Iowa Scenic Byway. Peddle through Jacksonville to Kimballton and visit the Little Mermaid fountain before heading back towards the windmill in Elk Horn.

Participants will be gifted a free 50th Anniversary windmill t-shirt and a voucher for breakfast, held at the Hygge Inn from 8 – 11AM. Support vehicles will be on standby for assistance along with stations for water and nutrition. Proceeds go towards the Danish Windmill’s Back on the Grind campaign to bring a new set of millstones to Elk Horn.
