Klarborg Duckling – Rappe

After the dark but cozy time, we look forward to the spring and the brighter spring, where it peeps out of the ground with snowdrops, pearl hyacinths, and daffodils in beautiful spring colors. Spring is also the time when the small baby lambs, chickens, ducks, and hares are born. All of them small, lovely woolly, downy and soft little crows, which are signs that spring has come. They are all so lovely and adorable that you want to take them home. I hope my little spring friends will bring joy an

Klarborg Nisserikker 2025 - Ornaments

To me, Christmas decorations should be something special, perhaps something that becomes a tradition. I have Christmas decorations given to me from my mother and grandmother, and those items have decorated my Christmas tree since 1980 and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. When my boys move out and get their own Christmas tree, they will receive Christmas tree decorations that belonged to their grandmother and their great grandmother and of course some from me. It is my hope that th

Warm and Cozy

“Shopping at the windmill is always an adventure! I always know I'm going to find more than what I came for and their selection is always fresh with new items to bring home. They always have this ability to bring coziness and warmth into my home. I bought this ceramic house and had so much fun painting it. Now it glows in my living room every night! ”

Lots of History and Small Town Charm

“A beautiful, authentic working Danish windmill. I learned not every windmill is the same. Lots of history to learn. Very cool to tour the inside and learn about how it was transported from Denmark. You can tour the inside the windmill and walk up a few floors even walk outside on the catwalk around the windmill. The grounds are well kept and feature a neat Viking house replica. A tiny church. A wooden troll and gnome home. A great gift shop full of Danish imports. I liked that the gift shop had a variety of pamphlets of other interesting things to do around the area.”
