2013 B&G Bell - 'Light in the snow'

A small boy with a big heart is the motif ornamenting the Bing & Grøndahl Christmas Plate – the world’s oldest plate. This little boy, having decorated a Christmas tree for the forest animals, is now lighting the candles in front of the animal audience. The wise owl, perched on his pole, is taking in this beautiful sight. The motif decorating the plate, number 119 of the series and designed by the Danish artist Jørgen Nielsen, reappears on Bell and Drop.

Bing & Grøndahl Christmas Bell 2020

This year's Bing & Grøndahl Christmas Bell is the 41st edition in the series and has been designed by the Danish artist Dag Samsund. The little robin puffs his feathers on a branch in the snow-covered King's Garden in Copenhagen. He listens intently to the sounds of the garden and watches as Copenhageners pass by him in the winter landscape. The snow is falling silently, and the sun said goodnight, leaving a crisp and starry night to shine on Rosenborg Castle. List Price: $120.00
