Anne Beate Design - Shepherd with Wife and Sheep

The shepherds in the fields are here symbolized by this shepherd and his sheep. These beautiful wooden figures were first produced back in the 1970´ties and for some unknown reason the shepherd got a wife then. When we decided to take up production of these special figures in 2006, we did not have the heart to take her away from him. Anyway, shepherds must have had wives too, then. The figures today are made exactly like the first ones and are of course hand-painted.
